The performance is based on the film starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis (Some Like It Hot, 1959). Joe and Jerry play music in a bar, living a hard life one day at a time in the US of the 1920’s.

By chance they witness a settling of accounts between gangs and they have to flee and hide. Luckily they come across a job offer for a saxophone and a bass player in an all women band. The band sets out on a tour in Florida. During the tour they meet the beautiful singer, Sugar Kane and Joe falls in love with her immediately. Still being chased by gangsters, they also have to cope with he love-siege of millionaire III. Osgood Fielding against Jerry who is dressed as a woman. Osgood helps them leave the band and escape from the mobsters, after which they can all reveal their real identities in the inevitable Happy End.
