*R.E.S.T. = A REST API, or representational state transfer application programming interface, is an architectural style that’s commonly seen as the standard for designing and building the networked applications that power the web.

What would you do if you would suddenly discover that what you thought it was irreplaceable could be brought in front of your eyes and heart with the aid of AI in exchange of a substantial fee? Would you sacrifice your savings, family and mental health to meet your daughter, sister of former lover who took her life at age of 16? You will not ne able to touch each other and she will not be able to feel what you feel but she will seem real to you and, during harsh moments of emotional withdrawal, nothing could convince you otherwise.

R.E.S.T. reminds us that we are humans and it could be extremely painful to accept our condition of ephemereal beings who always lose what we love and we can’t find solace in what our brain is able to stock into its memory. And how difficult it is to refrain ourselves from correcting what is wrong or from idealizing something that is due to vanish. It is almost as your photo album would come to life (or something alike) and would persuade you to move definitely in it under the risk of losing yourself and everything else.
