Unspoken Things is a poetic comedy that states harsh truths about love in a frank and simple manner. The performance presents different types of love, the maternal love, the almost mature love that precedes a marriage, the fresh one of those who are madly in love and the functional one between people who are married but devoid of passion. At the same time the performance presents what masculine-feminine means nowadays, the relationship between men and women, looking back at things that are generally accepted and taking a sharp look at what is desirable today.
Unspoken Things is the fist performance in Leta Popescu’s projected directing programme for the next 3 years, a programmme of popular theatre that aims to revisit classical structures, comedic devices and witty tales in a novel approach that doesn’t betray artistic explorations.
