Fabulamundi, international project of new plays returns with a powerful script by a German-speaking European author. Three women, three generations, three ambitions: grandmother, mother and daughter. How was a Jewish woman’s life 50 years ago in East Germany and how is now, in a unified Germany? Where is these women’s place and which is their homeland? What does freedom mean – at collective and invidivual level – and how does it affect our options and personal life? A smooth performance, an issue of our days, a new directorial debut on the National Theatre’s stage.
