„There is a thin line between – reality and dream, happiness and sorrow, good and evil, light and darkness – and this constant wandering between extremes is what we call… life. Just because we can suppress an evil it doesn’t mean that we must or it’s always wise to do it – because good cannot exist without evil and, sometimes, reality cannot exist without the dream – this will be noted in the unvierse of Prospero – one of the most impressive and mysterious characters of William Shakespeare’s body of work.

But who really is Prospero? A ruler who was wronged and sentenced to a terrible death? A suffering father facing an excessively cruel reality? The actor who, by the sheer force of his art, projects us in another world? The director who moves everything from the imaginary into reality? The author that has created this universe…? Why it has to be just one thing?

The Tempest, one of the last plays of the great author, is an outstanding tragicomedy that masterfully blends tragedy with humorous elements, and this new revival, supported by a fresh vision, offers an emotional experience – 12 actors create a world next to you and they invite you to dream along with them. Would you follow them?“
