We are pleased to announce that our theatre’s application has been launched! The tastefully designed, easy-to-use app was unveiled at the LIMITL3SS conference on March 22nd in the main hall of the Culture Palace.

The app was developed as part of the Hack4Act event, organized by the We Care We Grow association, under the guidance of senior programmers from the 3SS  company. More than fifty volunteer IT-specialists worked tirelessly on building it from scratch during a 24-hour app development marathon (hackathon), held in the Underground Hall of the National Theatre of Târgu Mureș on November 23-24, 2024. As a token of our gratitude for their dedication and hard work, we aimed to create a truly immersive experience for the IT-specialists by offering them a backstage tour in the middle of the night, during the hackatchon. This special tour also included a reading rehearsal, allowing them to try their hand at acting and take a break from their intense work. The experiences they gained during this event are visibly reflected in the app they created, making it rich in visuals and information.
Available in three languages (Romanian, Hungarian, and English), the app provides details on the performances of the Liviu Rebreanu and Tompa Miklós Companies, the theatre’s subscription system, the performance schedule, information about our actors, and direct links to our website for further details on specific topics. The app can be downloaded free of any charges from Play Store and App Store.
